It’s not the first time, Sri Lankan players already used so many tactics to waste the time and also to change the opponent’s mindset. Yesterday, Indian Skipper was all set to score his first triple century but he and Ashwin got out just after the stoppage of play after the complaining of Dinesh Chandimal and co. Their bad behaviour on the field might be the reason behind the quick wickets of Virat and Ashwin. Later, when India had lost 7 wickets, Captain asked the remaining players to play aggressive cricket and score runs as much as possible. But Kohli took a sudden decision and declared India’s innings quickly with full anger due to the continues complaining of Sri Lankan players about the weather.

Virat Kohli’s Bullet throw almost injured Sadeera

The incident happened in the 116th over of Sri Lanka’s innings. Virat Kohli dived and saved a boundary, suddenly throws towards the non strikers end batsman Sadeera Samarawickrama and his quick throw hit him in the back. Soon, Indian captain apologised to Sri Lankan captain Dinesh Chandimal, who was at the strike, and to Samarawickrama. Kohli was smiling for his mistake. Though no major injury was reported and Samarawickrama continued to play before he was caught behind by Wriddhiman Saha at 33. In between the issues between Indian players and Sri Lankan players’ tactics, this incident was a sign of True Sportsmanship.
