BCCI have announced the Indian squad for the both T20Is against New Zealand and two Tests against sri Lanka. The T20I squad was a great news for all the Indians as BCCI added new two names in the international squad. Shreyas Iyer, who led India A against New Zealand A has got a chance in the 15 men Squad.
The Hyderabas’s pacer Mohammed Siraj also got a chance in the 15 men squad of India in the upcoming T20Is. Ashish Nehra will play his last match of career in the first T20I against New Zealand on November 1. India will miss one of the best Pacers in the history of Indian cricket.
After the T20Is, Sri Lanka will be visiting India for a 3 match test series which is scheduled to start from November 16. Virat Kohli will be leading the side as the selectors decided not to give him a rest. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are back in the fold after missing out from the limited overs cricket. The test specialist opener Murali Vijay also back to the squad as he was suffering from injury during India’s last test series.
Kuldeep Yadav got an opportunity in the test squad also and it will be a challenge for these Spinners to perform their level best. Kuldeep Yadav was outstanding in the last series against Australia but he couldn’t do much more in the first ODI against New Zealand.
