Not only Indians, not only South Africans, but every Cricket fans are waiting for the Epic test series between India and South Africa which is scheduled to start from January 5. South Africa have AB de Villiers and India have Virat Kohli, both are one of the best batsmen in the history of Cricket. AB and the Kohli already has a great rapport between them but one would see them going head to head when they both take on each other on the field in their national Jersey.
Virat is a disciplined and adaptable guy
“Being in a country for a month before playing a series is ideal but it’s unrealistic, especially with our current schedules. If you’re prepared to do that (come earlier), you won’t be at home for many days of the year. Virat is a disciplined and adaptable guy. If he believes that’s the best way for India to prepare for tours, they must investigate the possibility,” AB de Villiers quoted as per The Citizen.
India should remember that they won’t get same (Sri Lankan) bowlers in South Africa: ABD
As we all know, Sri Lankan bowlers are the worst in the world at the moment and the Indian batsmen destroyed SL bowlers in the second test match. Team India asking for the grassy wickets in the ongoing series against Sri Lanka in order to adjust the South African conditions may be good but AB warns Indian team as they won’t be facing the same SL bowlers in South Africa.
“It might help them but India has got to remember that they won’t face the same bowlers. They’ll face guys that come from here and know in which areas to bowl. It’s easy to overthink these situations. In the end, it’s just about getting onto the field and achieving results,” he added.
