We have witnessed so many funny moments in Cricket. Every Cricket fan will love to watch funny Cricket videos again and again. Now, everyone is busy with ongoing Ashes, upcoming India-South Africa series and also with men big bash. But No one is watching or caring about the ongoing Women Big bash League.
A funny and clever very rare incident happened during a match between Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Sixers on Wednesday. No one can forget the early celebration of Mushfiqur Rahim against India during the World T20 2016, he celebrated before winning the match and then went on to losing it in a nail biting match. Here, in Women’s big bash league, same kind of incident took place yesterday.
Sydney Sixers needed 7 runs in the last over of the match. Sarah Aley and Kapp were batting for Sydney Sixers and the Melbourne Renegades’ captain Satterthwaite decided to bowl the last over. She was great in the last over as she gave only 4 runs off her first 5 balls. Then the batter needed 3 runs to win from just 1 ball. Sarah Aley tried to slog the delivery that took the inside edge to roll to the short fine-leg fielder. The fielder was very quick to return it back to ensure the victory. Melbourne Renegades’ Wicket Keeper started celebrating after collecting the ball and she threw the ball in the air but forget to knock the wickets.
Sarah Aley noticed the opportunity and decided to utilize it well cleverly. She tried another single and reached the crease successfully. The scenario of the match totally changed as she pushed the game from losing to super over. A Dhoni kind act from Sarah Aley in a pressure situation was indeed a heroic act. But then in the super over, Sydney Sixer could score only 8 runs and that was easily chased down by Melbourne team.
